Safety moderation considers harm, privacy, threats, exploitation, unlawful material, and platform abuse. A well-written piece can still raise safety concerns, and a safe piece may still need editorial development.

• Child safety, sexual exploitation, or abuse.
• Threats, self-harm, hate content, or graphic violence.

Review time can vary with risk, context, available evidence, editorial capacity, and the need to contact a contributor. RELEC may prioritise immediate safety and legal concerns over ordinary publication timing.

Publication does not make content permanently immune from review. RELEC may correct, restrict, or remove material when new safety, privacy, legal, authenticity, or policy concerns emerge. This policy states RELEC's authority; some reporting and moderation interfaces are still being prepared for Version 1 operations.
