In the year 2087, the last human radio operator sat alone in a crumbling tower on the coast of a silent sea. For three years, Elias had spun dials and whispered into the void, hoping for a reply from anyone—anywhere. The great silence had begun without warning, erasing cities, satellites, and voices in a single pulse. Now, only static remained. But tonight, as the sky bled orange and violet, his receiver crackled with something new: a rhythm, slow and deliberate, like a heartbeat encoded in waves. He knew it wasn't human. He also knew he would answer anyway.
Quote:
"We are not the first to listen, and we will not be the last to speak. But we are the ones who choose to say hello." — Elias, final log entry
Caption: Elias sends his last message into the unknown, hoping for a reply that will never come—or perhaps, one that already has.
Alt text: A lone figure silhouetted against a vast, glowing ocean under a twilight sky, standing beside a rusty radio tower with a single red light blinking atop it.
